A lumbar disc herniation is a condition that occurs when the discs in the spine displace and create pressure on the nerves, severely affecting quality of life. In this situation, patients often complain of severe pain radiating to the hips and legs.

One of the most current and effective methods in this field is Fully Endoscopic Lumbar Disc Hernia Surgery, also known in medical literature as Full Endoscopic Discectomy. In this minimally invasive surgical technique, the procedure is performed with the help of an endoscopic camera through a very small incision. This method, performed without damaging muscle, connective tissue, and bone, allows patients to experience less post-operative pain and a much faster recovery.

However, in cases of advanced spinal stenosis or severe calcification, different surgical techniques may be preferred.
